Primary and Middle Years Technologies Professional Learning Workshops F – 7

Share the Spark is a series of Professional Learning Workshops designed to support primary and middle years teachers in implementing the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) Technologies Curriculum, Design and Technologies and Digital Technologies.

Developed and facilitated by the School of Education Queensland Academics and assisted by current ACU students, our workshops allow educators to get hands-on with technology and provide practical ideas and resources to use within the classroom immediately.

  • Workshop 2: Design thinking in your classroom – Tuesday 15 May
    Primary and Middle School Educators
In this workshop participants will be guided through the design process and create prototypes using littleBits modular electronics.
  • Workshop 3: Technologies in the early years – Tuesday 28 May
    F – 3 Classrooms
Unpack the specific curriculum requirements to be found within Technologies KLA for the Early Years (F-2).
