Getting around Blacktown

We’re developing a campus that will be the heart of Blacktown. In 2020 we’ll open on Main Street. From there, we’re planning on expanding our campus and our course offerings quickly, with the first of two new campus buildings opening in the Warrick Lane precinct in 2024.

As the largest suburb in New South Wales, Blacktown is well connected with public transport options as well as cycling and walking routes. Here are some tips to help you get around.

The Great West Walk links significant areas throughout western Sydney including reserves, parks, bush trails and footpaths. Visit the Blacktown City Council to see what’s on offer.

Riding to work or university is a great way to get fit, save time and money, and do your bit to help the environment. The Blacktown Bike Plan provides a map of existing and new bike paths in the area, or explore Cycleway Finder.

The Blacktown Campus is well serviced by buses, with many routes stopping on or near Main Street. We recommend that you use theSydney Buses Trip Plannerto plan your bus journey to the campus. You can also see a network map at Busways.

Public transport tickets, including MyBus and MyMulti, are available for purchase from the North Sydney Co-op Bookshop.

Our campus is located just a two-minute walk from Blacktown Station. The station is serviced by the Blue Mountains, Western and Richmond lines. To plan your trip to North Sydney Station, we recommend that you use the City Rail Trip Planner.

If you’ve checked out available sustainable transport options but have chosen to drive, there are a few things to consider.

There is no parking on campus for students at any time.

On-street parking is available, but very limited in the Blacktown area. Paid carparks are available nearby.
