It's important to stay healthy while you're studying. Whether you're a couch potato or a fitness fanatic, we have the sports or fitness program to suit you.
And you don’t need to be a student with us to sign up to many of our programs. Students, staff and local community members can all reap the benefits of an active lifestyle.
We have state of the art gyms on three of our campuses (Brisbane, Melbourne and Strathfield) and run a range of fitness classes on every campus. Our gyms and fitness classes, including circuit, boxing, yoga and zumba, are open to all: students, staff and the local community.
You can get fit, enjoy the health benefits of playing sports and have lots of fun with your friends by playing socially. Each of our campuses features a range of social sporting opportunities.
Staying healthy isn’t all about doing 100 sit-ups every day – there are many different elements to wellbeing. We see the whole person, and want to help you take care of all aspects of your health.
Are you an elite athlete or performer? Our Elite Athlete and Performer Program (EAPP) can help you balance training and competing with your studies. Sign up to get your best shot at success.Learn more about the EAPP
You could go from playing sport on campus, to playing for ACU at the UniSport Nationals and then heading overseas to represent Australia on the global stage.
At all of our campuses, you’ll be able to play sport with other students. You can start your own club or join an established one. Netball, touch football, men’s and women’s AFL and rugby 7s are just some of the sports played across the University.
Every year, our sports teams take on other Australian universities at the UniSport Nationals. You’ll have plenty of opportunities during semester to join a team and you don’t have to be a professional athlete to get involved – you just need to be competitive, enthusiastic and a good sport.
Our facilities, from sports ovals to moot courts to health training simulation centres, help make our campuses fantastic places to learn.See our campuses
