Dr Anthony Dillon’s PhD centres on an investigation of the factors that predict parents’ acceptance or rejection of the ADHD diagnosis of their child. Anthony works full-time on research at IPPE. This entails supervising higher degree students, writing grant applications, and conducting research. In addition, he often provides guest lectures on Indigenous issues and is often asked for his opinion in interviews in the popular media. His teaching and research interests include alternative conceptualisations of mental health (particularly ADHD), statistics and psychometrics, applied psychology, and Indigenous health.
