In Australia, over 40% of women will suffer an osteoporotic fracture in their lifetime.

Investigating interventions that can reduce or prevent bone loss in post menopausal women is a critical focus of this study. The OsteoPrep study will look at how a probiotic food supplement affects gut bacteria and impacts on bone health in women.

  • 40 – 65 years of age
  • 1 – 4 years since their last menses

*Main exclusion criteria include:

What’s involved?
