By accepting the offer I understand and agree that:

  1. Deferral of this scholarship is not permitted unless otherwise specified in my offer.
  2. The scholarship may be contingent on my enrolment in a specific course/ study load/ campus. It is my responsibility to advise the Scholarships Office before making changes to my enrolment that would impact my eligibility, and I understand that if I make these changes without approval, my scholarship may be withdrawn.
  3. I must pass the attempted units for the duration of my scholarship as specified in the ongoing requirements of my awarded scholarship.
  4. Scholarships awarded as a reduction of tuition fee or accommodation fee are non-refundable.
  5. Payment of my scholarship will be made upon confirmation of my enrolment after the census date or as specified in the Scholarship Offer.
  6. It is my responsibility to determine if the receipt of the scholarship will have taxation implications or will affect my social security entitlements. I acknowledge that ACU recommends I obtain advice from an accountant or visit the Australian Taxation Office website to complete the Scholarship taxation survey.
  7. In the following circumstances, ACU will withdraw my scholarship and I may be required to repay any scholarship to which I am not entitled but was paid to me:

    (i) within 14 days of being requested to do so by ACU, if:

    - I have provided false or misleading information. 
    - I have been suspended or excluded for academic or general misconduct under ACU policies and regulations.
    - I have been overpaid or payment was made to me in error.
    - I no longer meet the eligibility criteria.

    (ii) on terms to be agreed between myself and ACU and where agreement is not reached, within 14 days of being requested to do so by ACU, if:

    - I incorrectly received the scholarship when I should not have in that I did not meet the eligibility criteria.

  8. I understand that all future correspondence from the Scholarships Office will be conducted electronically via my ACU student e-mail account.
  9. These terms and conditions are to be read together with the Scholarship Offer.
  10. If I wish to appeal a scholarship decision, I may do so in accordance with the Student Appeals Policy.
