How do I accept my offer?

You can accept your offer by enrolling in your first semester units for 2026. Enrolment will be open from early October. You will receive detailed instructions prior to enrolments opening.

If you are in Victoria, you still need to submit an application via VTAC listing your ACU Guarantee offer as your highest eligible preference. Once you receive your VTAC offer, you can then accept your offer by enrolling in your first semester units for 2026. You do not have to apply via your TAC if you are in any other state (Queensland, NSW, ACT).

If I'm successful, is there anything more I need to do later?

Yes. First, make sure you meet any course prerequisites – your offer is conditional on that. You’ll also need to complete Year 12, so don’t give up on your exams just because you have an ACU Guarantee offer. Continuing to work hard will give you the best chance of success once you start university.

Will I be told if I'm not successful?

Yes, we will send you an email with the outcome of your application.

What are my options if I'm not successful?

There are many ways into ACU. IF you are not successful, you can still apply for tertiary admission via your state's standard application process through VTAC, UAC or QTAC. You should also explore our other admission pathways to see if any suit you.

Can I change my preferences and try again if I'm unsuccessful?

Yes, you can change your preferences at any time until ACU Guarantee applications close. You simply log back into the portal.

Can I defer an ACU Guarantee offer?

Yes, you can defer your offer for up to one year.

Will my offer expire?

Your offer will expire if you do not either:

  • enrol for Semester 1
  • defer your offer.

What's the earliest I can enrol if I get an offer in September?

Enrolment opens in early October and we will send you an email when you can enrol. If you live in Victoria, you will be able to enrol once you have received your offer to ACU from VTAC.
