Requests for Information and Subpoenas

Australian Catholic University receives numerous requests for documents and information (including personal and health information) held by the University from various sources.

Requests for Information

All requests for personal information and/ or student records must be accompanied by current, signed consent by the relevant person. The fee schedule for handling requests is as follows:

$70 for the first 2x hours, no copy of official academic transcript
$100 for the first 2x hours, including a copy of official academic transcript
$50 per hour thereafter in both scenarios

The fees cover the retrieval of records, photocopying, printing, collation of documents and staff time.

Payment is required on finalisation of the request and before the records are sent, once the total hours spent on your request have been calculated.

Subpoenas/Summons (orders issued by a court or tribunal)

All subpoenas/summons for a person to attend court/the tribunal to give evidence or to produce documents (or both) should be addressed to and served on:
