Experiencing everyday life of a community in a developing country
The Bachelor of International Development Studies
equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to work for organisations
that aim to improve the lives of some of the world's poorest people.
A key feature of this course is the third year immersion experience (a four
week community-based learning experience), which will expose you to the
everyday life of a community in a developing country.
Commencing in mid- April 2015 our students set
out on their immersion experience. Read about their adventure below on their
blogs. You may also want to read about the immersion experience from the course
coordinators who accompany the students on the experience, click here.
