Community Achiever Celebration, Melbourne

Congratulations on becoming an ACU community achiever. It’s a big accomplishment, so to mark the occasion we would love you to join us for our 2019 Community Achiever Celebration.

Along with making new friends, you’ll have the opportunity to be inspired by past and present ACU students who are leaders within their community.

At the event you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • be inspired by ACU graduates making a difference in their community
  • meet other new members of the program
  • get tips and advice from experienced community achievers
  • learn your way around campus on a guided tour
  • make lifelong friends.

Hear from:

Nicola Parkes, Bachelor of Youth Work

Nicola has dedicated her life to supporting people with a refugee experience. After completing her degree with ACU, she began working for The Centre of Multicultural Youth in Melbourne where she supported unaccompanied minors from Afghanistan who had come to Australia by boat.

Emma Clegg, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Emma saw a serious need in the Australian market for on-trend, adaptive clothing for the one in five people that have a disability. So, she created JAM, an adaptive clothing label that combines function with style.

Please join Emma, Nicola and current ACU community achievers for our annual Community Achiever Celebration.
