Foodbank is a non-religious, non-for-profit organisation that acts as a pantry to the charities and community groups who feed the hungry. They provide approximately 200,000kgs of food to such organisations each week and rely heavily on volunteers to achieve this.

Foodbank offer a very hands-on experience where volunteers will undertake physical lifting, packing and/or sorting tasks within their warehouse to organise food items so that they are ready to be distributed.

NB: This experience does not offer any face-to-face interaction with individuals experiencing marginalisation or vulnerability.
