Under the Assessment Series of ILSTE Research, it has been identified that the consistency in scoring teacher education nationally and moderating results is not evident among higher education institutes. ILSTE will develop a research paper on cross-institutional moderation (CIM) and benchmarking in teaching performance assessments (TPAs). Potentially, through the GTPA Collective of HEIs, a more ambitious benchmarking of teacher education nationally, along with identifying soft and hard infrastructure needs, may facilitate online moderation processes at scale. 

ILSTE will lead this research paper, which is funded by the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL).
