IDEAL Program

The Industry Driven Engagement and Learning (IDEAL) program supports our students by providing innovative, industry-based initiatives to meet the dynamic needs of the contemporary, digital transformation era.

IDEAL's goal is to build competency, capacity, connections and identity in our key stakeholders. The four arms of the program are industry-based placements, assessments, engagement and co-curricular activities.

Several Faculty of Law and Business students at a Career Catalyst event discuss their work while looking at a laptop.

Across our courses in business, law and information technology students are given the opportunity to engage with their industry, develop professional networks and connections, learn on-the-job skills and work for the betterment of the community through Industry Driven Engagement and Learning (IDEAL).

Our students have undertaken a variety of internship experiences that meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).
