Ashleigh Homer

SPRINT research centre manager

Ashleigh has over seven years experience in human research during which she project managed her own clinical studies. As centre manager Ashleigh is responsible for grant management, HREC management, stakeholder management, marketing and event coordination and general operations.

Ashleigh completed her undergraduate and masters degrees in Sport and Exercise Nutrition at the University of Otago in New Zealand. In 2017, she moved to Melbourne to undertake her PhD at ACU, which she completed in 2020. Ashleigh's thesis investigated the inter-relationships between sedentary behaviour, physical activity and glucose metabolism.
