About

Lembaga Pengelola Dana Penidikan (LPDP) is a scholarship program designed to support outstanding Indonesian students to pursue postgraduate studies at top international universities, supporting future Indonesian leaders.

LPDP scholars at ACU are empowered to conduct research that addresses real-world challenges in their home countries and regions. Whether focused on public health, education reform, climate resilience, or governance, our scholars are equipped to lead with insight and integrity.

Eligibility

Applications are open to Indonesian citizens whose proposed research aligns with any of ACU's broad areas of expertise

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be an Indonesian citizen.
  • Meet the eligibility requirements of the LPDP scheme as outlined on the LPDP website.

How to apply

Applications to ACU are open year-round. Follow the steps below to apply.

Step 1: Prepare a proposal for study at ACU

Applicants of the SHARE (Social Humanities Art for People, Religious Studies, and Economy) scholarship and the STEM Strategic Industries (STEM) scholarship may list a study program and university of their choice outside the list of programs and institutions designated by LPDP, and upload evidence of the superior quality or reputation of the chosen program and university.

Documents proving the superior quality or reputation of the chosen study program and university may include evidence of the program's ranking by an international ranking agency for overseas study destinations.

Step 2: Obtain a Letter of Offer (LoA) from ACU

For overseas study destinations, an unconditional LoA is required.

To be considered for the graduate research program at ACU, applicants must submit all documentation required as detailed in the How to Apply instructions.

Step 3: Submit your application to LPDP

Include your LoA, proof of correspondence with ACU, and other required documents during the LPDP application process including evidence of the program's ranking by an international ranking agency for overseas study destinations.

LPDP scholarships are funded by the Government of Indonesia through the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan - LPDP) and are awarded in accordance with the ACU Research Training Program Scholarship Policy.
