You do not need to enrol yourself. The Graduate Research School will process your enrolment in the month prior to your commencement date and send you a 'Confirmation of Enrolment' letter. The letter will confirm course details and provide information on how to access ACU systems including your ACU email account, and how to obtain a student ID card.

If you have not received your confirmation of enrolment two weeks prior to your date of commencement, please notify us at grad.research@acu.edu.au.

Your 'Confirmation of Enrolment' letter will invite you to complete an online orientation along with modules on respectful relationships and child safety.

Your Principal Supervisor—along with other supervisors where possible—will meet with you at the start of your candidature, or shortly after, to discuss key milestones and develop a clear plan for supervision meetings and progress tracking. See ACU’s Higher Degree Research Supervision Policy for further detail.

Please email your principal supervisor to arrange a suitable time to meet. Contact details for your supervisory team are included in the emails received with your offer letter and 'Confirmation of Enrolment' letter.

If you are awarded a stipend scholarship, you will be asked to provide bank account details for payment as part of accepting the offer.

Payments are made fortnightly based on the Payroll Calendar and you will receive a payslip via email. Annual stipend amounts are paid on a pro rata basis across 365 calendar days.

Your first payment will reflect the number of days you were enrolled during that first two-week pay period and so may be less than your regular fortnightly payment.
