EFTSL value of units : All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

Admission requirements

Completion requirements

To qualify for the Master of Public Health, a student must complete 160 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings comprising of:

a. 80 cp Specified Public Health Units (Part A); and

b. 80 cp Stream Units, consisting of either:

i. Research Stream:

1. 20 cp Elective units (Part B);
2. 60 cp Specified Research Stream Units (Part C);

OR

ii. Project Stream:

1. 60 cp Elective units (Part B);
2. 20 cp Specified Project Stream Units (Part D)

Exit points

A student who has successfully completed the following requirements may exit from the course with that qualification:

• GCPHEA: Graduate Certificate in Public Health (completed a minimum 40 credit points)
• GDPHEA: Graduate Diploma in Public Health (completed a minimum 80 credit points)

Progression requirements

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Adviser. In all aspects of progression through this course, students will be advised by the Course Adviser.
