Canvas is currently unavailable due to a global outage.

This follows a cybersecurity incident which has impacted thousands of Canvas clients around the world.

We are working with the vendor to restore the platform. 

In the meantime, assessments may be rescheduled and/or the deadline for submissions extended. Further information will be provided by your unit coordinator.

We will provide updates on any material developments, so please continue to check your emails and the student portal for this information.

Please remember:

  • Be on heightened alert to scams and phishing attempts, particularly through your ACU email
  • Do not click on suspicious links or attachments
  • If you receive requests for payment, you can contact  AskACU  to verify that it is genuine
  • Report anything unusual to AskACU 
  • The Australian Government also provides resources on  recovering from data breaches.
