ACU students have placed ACU as a preferred university for student experience, putting ACU ahead of competitors a number of measures for student satisfaction, according to the most recent Government survey.
The 2021 Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) survey, which includes the the Student Experience Survey (SES), shows that ACU undergraduate students have a positive assessment of their time at university. More than 643,000 students took part in the national SES that measures five aspects of the student experience: Skills Development, Learner Engagement, Teaching Quality, Student Support, and Learning Resources.
Responses from all university students suggest that the higher education sector is slowly returning to pre-pandemic levels, while all ACU showed an improvement on the previous year across indicators.
The university’s Undergraduate Overall Satisfaction rating increased 5.9 percentage points from 2020 to 2021. Other notable findings from the results include students rating ACU at:
Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Zlatko Skrbis said he was delighted how ACU students had responded to their experience. “It is encouraging to see improvement across all aspects of education in every category.
“Ensuring our students have access to the best learning, state-of-the art facilities, and experiences as university students drives all that we do,” he said.
