Maps of Hope is a collection of Pope Leo XIV’s early speeches, homilies and messages that reveal his emerging vision for education, artificial intelligence and ethics – and what it means for the future of humanity.

Published by Australian Catholic University in collaboration with the Dicastery for Culture and Education, the book opens with a foreword by the Dicastery’s Prefect, His Eminence Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, and an introduction by ACU Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Zlatko Skrbis. Its two sections feature substantial introductions by ACU scholars: Reverend Associate Professor Ormond Rush, a leading theologian, on education; and Associate Professor Xavier Symons, Director of ACU's Plunkett Centre for Ethics, on artificial intelligence.
