Greg Craven Lecture

The Greg Craven Lecture on Ethics and Politics will be delivered in Sydney on 26 October 2022.

The institute established the Craven Lecture in 2022 to honour the contribution Greg Craven made both to ACU as Vice-Chancellor and President (2008-21), and to public intellectual life as a prominent contributor to public debate.

The Craven Lecture examines the ethical dimensions of politics and their practical implications for public policy. It forms part of a range of initiatives at ACU making its expertise in ethics available to engage the most important issues for the future of Australia and the life of free societies.

The inaugural Craven Lecturer is Mary Eberstadt, Panula Chair in Christian Culture at the Catholic Information Center and Senior Research Fellow at the Faith and Reason Institute, both in Washington DC.
