Centre staff

Professor Clare Johnson is the Director of the Centre and Dr Jason McFarland is the Assistant Director. Centre staff work closely with the Bishops Commission for Liturgy to support, promote and enhance the liturgical life of the Catholic Church.

Board of Advisors

Our Board of Advisors provides strategic guidance and a thoughtful sounding board for the Centre in relation to its current programs and future directions. It also helps to ensure that we remain true to our Mission and maintain good standing with both the Roman Catholic Church and ACU.

The board includes representatives from:

  • the Bishops Commission for Liturgy
  • the Directorate of Identity and Mission
  • the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy
  • the LaSalle Academy for Faith Formation and Religious Education
  • international liturgy consultants
  • rural diocesan liturgy representatives
  • a nominee of the Vice Chancellor
  • a representative of the ACU student body.

Board members offer an independent perspective on our strategic development of academic programs, pastoral formation activities, research initiatives and the ongoing promotion of the liturgical apostolate.

Advisory board members are appointed to provide a diversity of relevant skills and expertise to ensure that the needs of various stakeholders are appropriately represented and that our staff are supported and encouraged to enact our Mission.
