The Clinic for Healthy Eating and Weight (CHEW) is part of the ACU Melbourne Psychology Clinic. It is a community-based clinic offering high quality, low cost psychological assessment and treatment of eating, weight and body image concerns.
Services are provided by Master of Psychology students (interns) who practice under the supervision of experienced psychologists with relevant clinical experience. Research evaluations of the clinic and client outcomes are conducted with the consent of the client.
The clinic provides a range of evidence-based programs for treatment of eating disorders, disordered eating, emotional eating, obesity, weight and shape concerns, body image concerns and child feeding problems.
