John Locke & Japanese Society for British Philosophy Conferences

The next conference of the John Locke Society will be held at Australian Catholic University's North Sydney Campus on 29 and 30 July 2026. It will be followed by the Japanese Society for British Philosophy Australian Conference, which will be held at the same venue on 31 July and 1 August 2026.

The submission period for paper titles & abstracts is 1 September 2025 to 31 May 2026. Confirmation of papers accepted for the conferences will normally be within three weeks of submission of title and abstract.

When submitting, please provide the name of the conference(s) you're submitting to, your paper title(s), abstract(s) of 200-400 words, and your affiliation. Send submissions to Professor Peter Anstey (peter.anstey@acu.edu.au) or Professor Shigeyuki Aoki (s-aoki@tamacc.chuo-u.ac.jp).

There will be a conference dinner on 30 July 2026. Further details will be shared soon.
