Why did you choose ACU?

The nursing simulation labs are fantastic, and the university has a good reputation for teaching competent and compassionate nurses. My campus is also situated in a very fun part of town, with a lot of cool cafes, shops and restaurants to explore.

What do you enjoy most about attending University?

Putting theory to practice during prac classes! The light-bulb moment when all the knowledge from tutorials and lectures finally come together is the best feeling.

What do you enjoy about being a Widening Participation Ambassador?

Being able to share my experiences and advice is what I enjoy the most.

Making the decision to attend university can be almost as easy as breathing for some, but also very stressful for many others. Sometimes, just being able to hear ‘it’s okay, I’ve had that problem too and this is how I solved it.’ can really do wonders for someone’s stress and anxiety.

I have tons of fun answering questions, telling stories and cracking jokes!
