SESU projects are developed in partnership with organisations working in areas that are central to ACU's mission and ethos as a Catholic university. These organisations identify an issue, question or need for themselves or their sector and partner with the SESU on a research project to work toward a resolution.

All projects support work in the core areas of ACU's mission, with a focus on producing positive impacts for communities experiencing disadvantage or on advancing the Catholic tradition.

We understand that every organisation has different priorities for its clients, programs and services and different research needs. For this reason, we offer two project streams: sector projects, where multiple organisations partner with us to address a large issue facing numerous organisations in the community sector, and organisation-specific projects, where we partner with organisations to shape, evaluate or develop their programs or services.

Our researchers work collaboratively on these projects with organisations and produce high-quality outputs that reflect the nature of the project.
