Life at our Rome campus is about so much more than study. You’ll immerse yourself in Roman life, bond with other students from around Australia and the world, explore historic sites, improve your Italian and, of course, study.
You’ll also have opportunity to go beyond the tourist sights and engage with locals in a meaningful way, such as working with the homeless and refugees among the Sant’Egidio community.
Your health and safety is our top priority and, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and current travel restrictions, all ACU international study programs are currently suspended.
Virtual learning opportunities are available during this time for both short-term and semester-long experiences. Current students can find more information on the Student Portal.
ACU is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely, and we will continue to review the aforementioned guidance. Please refer to our Coronavirus FAQs for regular updates.
No matter what course you’re studying with us, you’ll have the opportunity to study for weeks in Rome. See what’s on offer in each study area:
Your Rome accommodation is located on campus in the trendy Trastevere district, just 3km from Vatican City. Staying in Trastevere, you will be able to enjoy all that Rome has to offer, being within walking distance of historical sites, cafes and restaurants.
The campus is bright and modern with all the facilities you’ll need for your stay. The sprawling site has a garden and shared courtyards to relax in and terraces that offer views over the city.
