R - Application for Readmission

This form should be completed by ACU students wishing to return to the University following

  • A period of termination/exclusion/suspension; or
  • Inactivation of student status because of failure to enrol; or
  • Withdrawal from course

Readmission after termination/exclusion/suspension at ACU is subject to approval by the relevant Head of School, and will be based on your demonstrated capacity for improved performance in your ACU studies. You should provide supporting documentation in addition to your written statement on this form. You can apply to return to your previous course or apply for a new course. Your application for readmission will only be considered once two semesters have passed, from the date of termination. Applications for Readmission after inactivation are closed for semester 2, 2024. Applications will now be processed for semester 1, 2025 or semester 2, 2025 intake only.

Readmission following inactivation at ACU is subject to support from the relevant Course Coordinator and availability of a place in the course. You will need to meet with the Course Coordinator and have documentation of their support before completing this form. You can only apply to return to your previous course. If you have been absent without enrolment for MORE than two years (four standard study periods) or you wish to return to a different course, you will need to re-apply to study at ACU through the relevant TAC or for postgraduate courses, apply direct to ACU. Applications for Readmission after inactivation are closed for semester 2, 2024. Applications will now be processed for semester 1, 2025 or semester 2, 2025 intake only.
