Exercise and sports science

Exercise and sports science examines the physiology of exercise - how exercise and the human body interact, and what the results and benefits are, with an emphasis on community wellness. An exercise scientist's work can span from helping someone take the initial steps to becoming more active, through to assisting an athlete at the highest level perform at their maximum capacity. Upon graduation, students become accredited exercise scientists with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
