As an arts major, theology study is fascinating, thought-provoking, challenging and very rewarding, intellectually and spiritually. And it has practical ramifications. You'll learn to relate faith, spirituality and scholarship to concern for the common good, the dignity of the human person, and stewardship of the environment and all creation. Study theology as your arts major to open up opportunities in professions committed to human flourishing.
You'll study your theology specialisation through ACU's Faculty of Theology and Philosophy, a leader in religion and religious studies research in Australia. You'll also be connected to our network of Catholic and theological partners, research institutes, academies and centres. When you finish, you'll have demonstrated advanced skills in critical thinking, analysis of complex arguments, academic writing, independent research and verbal and written communication - all of which are highly valued by employers.
