Occupational therapy

The term 'occupation' is used to describe the things we want and need to do to participate in everyday life. As an occupational therapist (OT), you'll play an important role in the lives of individuals and communities. You'll work to enable participation in occupations of self-care (showering and dressing), productivity (working or schooling) and leisure (sport and play). We use a person-centred approach to work with individuals, groups and communities to achieve optimal health and wellbeing through participation in the occupations of life.
