Established in 2016 by ACU Vice Chancellor, Professor Greg Craven, this scholarship honours Francis Xavier Conaci, a young Aboriginal man who joined the Benedictines and was sent to Rome for his education. This scholarship will assist an ACU student to attend the UNCC300 core curriculum unit at the ACU Rome Centre.

A recipient will be selected by a selection committee comprised of the Director, First Peoples & Equity Pathways Directorate, the Director, International, and an Aboriginal Elder or Indigenous Academic as nominated by the Director of First Peoples & Equity Pathways Directorate.
The successful applicant will be expected to attend a Scholarship Award ceremony to be formally presented with their scholarship.
