Valentine is a higher education academic and practitioner with over 20 years of experience in internationalised, practice‑oriented higher education, curriculum innovation, and capacity‑building partnerships across Australia, Europe, Africa, and North America. Valentine has experience contributing to applied undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, professional master’s courses, and internationally networked curricula in education, public policy, leadership, and international development.
Valentine’s research and teaching expertise focus on (refugee) migrant studies, African studies, university–community engagement, service‑learning pedagogy and curriculum design.
