Dr Rafaan Daliri-Ngametua (FHEA) is a lecturer and researcher in education at the National School of Education, Australian Catholic University. Rafaan previously worked at The University of Queensland and prior to that was a classroom teacher, with experience in primary and secondary schools and in both the public and private sector. Rafaan has received several teaching and research awards and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In 2022, she was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy by the University of Queensland. Her PhD explored the nature and effects of the datafication of assessment and learning on student, teacher and school practices and has been nominated for the UQ Dean's Outstanding Thesis Award.
