Kathryn is a speech pathologist with over 12 years' experience in clinical, teaching and research contexts. She has clinical expertise in stroke and aphasia, having worked in acute, rehabilitation, community and clinical research environments. She is particularly passionate about supporting communication access, connection and wellbeing for adults living with aphasia and their loved ones.

Kathryn is undertaking her PhD with the Centre for Research Excellence in Aphasia Recovery and Rehabilitation at La Trobe University, where she is researching the delivery and facilitation of community aphasia groups. She is also the current Deputy Chair and Treasurer of Australian Aphasia Association.

In addition to her clinical work and research, Kathryn is an experienced educator of speech pathology students, including within university, hospital, clinic and simulation settings.
