I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Finance in the Faculty of Law and Business at the Australian Catholic University (ACU). The theme of interdisciplinary academic pursuits is pervasive in my research. My past work experience includes a number of consultancy projects with the World Bank, UNDP, ADB, GIZ, and a staff position with ABN AMRO Bank. My current research interests focus on the impact of remittances on socio-economic phenomena, energy, green transition, investment, financial management, FinTech, banking, corporate governance, the monetary policy response to shocks, and financial sector development in transition economies. I have published my research in a variety of academic journals including The World Economy, International Review of Economics and Finance, Economic Modelling, Pacific Basin Finance Journal, Empirical Economics, Energy and International Migration.
