Heath Gangell is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine (SoNMP). He has over 15 years of experience in the pre-hospital environment as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic and holds current AHPRA paramedic registration.

Heath is currently Deputy Head of School in the SoNMP (Melbourne campus) and National Course Coordinator (Paramedicine).

With a passion for teaching and learning in paramedicine, Heath oversees the national implementation and governance of the Bachelor of Paramedicine (BP) and Bachelor of Nursing / Bachelor of Paramedicine (BNBP) courses at ACU. He strives to deliver evidence-based, innovative, engaging, and supportive learning environments that appeal to all students and learning styles.
