Vikki Pollard is Senior Lecturer in the Centre for Education and Innovation at the Australian Catholic University. Her research sits at the intersection of psychoanalysis, pedagogy, and contemporary higher-education practice. Her scholarship focuses on how forms of knowledge emerge, what interrupts habitual modes of thinking, and how educators can cultivate spaces that support reflective, ethical, and transformative learning.

Dr Pollard has extensive experience in teaching, with particular expertise in reflective practice, professional identity formation, and the affective dimensions of learning. She brings a theoretically rich accessible approach, drawing on psychoanalytic theory, philosophy, and critical pedagogy.

Dr Pollard is an active contributor to academic discourse through conference presentations, collaborative projects, and ongoing research initiatives. She is committed to bridging theoretical insight with practical application, working with educators and practitioners to design learning environments that are intellectually demanding, emotionally attuned, and responsive to the complex realities of professional practice.
