Alycia is an experienced research assistant with a passion for helping people to engage with research and see the impact of quality research projects.
In 2018 Alycia completed her Masters in Public Health, looking at the experience of rural dialysis nurses in managing ongoing relationships with challenging patients. Since then she has worked across four Australian Universities, in four Australian states, assisting with a wide variety of research projects - from looking at the impact of bushfires on breastfeeding in Port Macquarie, through to exploring the impact of drawing blood from peripheral intravenous cannula in Perth.
Alycia has a working understanding of a wide range of research methodologies and processes.
Alycia has an ongoing personal interest in research that improves rural healthcare, and projects that make an impact on keeping healthcare staff safe from aggression at work (without 'blaming' the victims).
