Enrolment guidelines

Keep these guidelines in mind when choosing your units.

Study load

Each ACU unit is worth 10 credit points (CP), this is the equivalent of 7.5 ECTS or 3-4 USA credits.

A standard full-time study load is three to four units (30CP to 40CP). Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 30CP (3 units) and a maximum of 40CP (4 units).

If you hold a student visa, you can only study online for one third of your total program. This means that if you are enrolled in 30CP/40CP, you can only complete one 10CP course via online study.

Prerequisites

You will need to meet any prerequisite requirements to be eligible to enrol in units. Refer to each individual unit outline on the ACU Handbook to view specific unit prerequisites.
