To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent:

To qualify for the award a student must complete 400 cp comprising:
1. 260 cp from the Bachelor of Laws (Part A) including:

c. 10 cp from General Elective units (Part A.3)
d.10 cp from Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono unit (Part A.4)
e.0 cp from Pro Bono: Legal Professional Experience (Part A.5)
2. 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings of the Bachelor of Global Studies (Part B) including:
a. 40 cp of Global Studies Specified units (Part B.1)
b. 40 cp of Global Studies Elective units OR 1 Minor (Part B.2)
c. 40 cp from Global Studies International Experience units (Part B.3)
3. 20 cp from the Core Curriculum Units (Part C)
To qualify for the degree, a student must also complete at least 80 hours of 0cp pro bono placement after completion of LAWS213 Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono.
Progression requirements
Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) before undertaking advanced level units (200, 300, 400 level). Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Adviser. In all aspects of progression through this course, students will be advised by the Course Adviser.
