To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12, or equivalent:

Definition

A Major is 80 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at 100-level, at least 40 cp at 200-level and at least 20 cp from 300-level.

A Minor is 40 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at 100-level and at least 20 cp at 200- or 300-level

Completion requirements

To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 320 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

1. 170 cp of Specified units from the Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability (Part A)

2. 120 cp from the Bachelor of Commerce (Part B)

a. 40 cp from Specified Business units (Part B.1)

b. 80 cp from Business major units (Part B.1)

3. 30 cp from Core Curriculum and Community Engagement units (Part C)

Other requirements

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.

Exit points

Students who have met the requirements of the non-award course Certificate in Liberal Studies, Diploma in Liberal Arts, Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability OR Bachelor of Commerce can exit with that award.
