To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent:

Definition
A Major is 80 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at 100-level, at least 40 cp at 200-level and at least 20 cp from 300-level.
A Minor is 40 cp in prescribed units in one discipline or approved interdisciplinary area, normally including at least 10 cp at 100-level and at least 20 cp at 200- or 300-level
Completion requirements
To qualify for the award, a student must complete 400 cp consisting of:
1.240 cp from the Bachelor of Laws (Part A)
a.180 cp from Law Specified units (Part A1)
b. 50 cp from Law Elective units (Part A2)
c. 10 cp from Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono unit (Part A3)
d. 0 cp from LAWP100 Pro Bono Legal Professional Experience 1 unit (Part A4)
2.140 cp from the Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability (Part B)
a. 80 cp from the Sustainability Major units (Part B1)
b. 40 cp from the Environmental Humanities Minor units (Part B2)
c. 20 cp from Bachelor of Arts Elective units (Part B3)
3.20 cp from Core Curriculum Units (Part C)
Other requirements
To qualify for the degree, a student must also complete at least 80 hours of 0 cp pro bono placement after completion of LAWS213 Community Legal Engagement: Pro Bono.
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
Exit points
Students who have met the requirements of the non-award course Certificate in Liberal Studies, Diploma in Liberal Arts OR Bachelor of Social and Environmental Sustainability can exit with that award.
Progression requirements
Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) in an approved sequence before undertaking advanced level units (200, 300, 400 level) in that sequence.
