EFTSL value of units : All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

Admission requirements

An applicant must comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent.

Assumed Knowledge: English (Standard) Band 3, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE), Mathematics (any) OR Biology, Chemistry or Physics

Queensland

Assumed Knowledge: English (Units 3 & 4, C), one of General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Health or Physical Education (Units 3 & 4, C)

Victoria

Prerequisites: Units 3 and 4 – a study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or at least 25 in English other than EAL.

Completion requirements

To qualify for the Bachelor of Exercise Science/Bachelor of Business Administration degree, a student must complete 320 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

a. 160 cp from Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science units, consisting of:

  1. 120 cp from Specified Exercise and Sports Science Units (Part A);
  2. 20 cp from Elective Units (Part B);
  3. 20 cp from Industry Experience, including EXSC205 Industry Experience Preparation (0 cp) (Part C)

AND

b. 140 cp from Business Units, consisting of:

  1. 130 cp from Specified Business Units (Part D);
  2. 10 cp from BIPX202 Community Engagement: Building Strengths and Capabilities (Part E);

AND

c. 20 cp from Core Curriculum Units (Part F)

Progression requirements

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator.

In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
