Applications from international students are assessed on the basis of the applicant’s academic qualifications and proficiency in English. Applicants are also required to satisfy the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) criteria for Genuine Students, Genuine Temporary Entrants and have the financial capacity to fund their studies and living expenses whilst studying in Australia.

Undergraduate entry is based on the satisfactory completion of the equivalent of twelve years of schooling at a comparable entry level to that applying to domestic students. International students undertaking Australian Year 12 examinations apply through the Tertiary Admissions Centre in the relevant state. All other applicants should apply direct to the University. Postgraduate entry is normally based on the satisfactory completion of a recognised degree or diploma of at least three years duration, comparable to an Australian degree or diploma.

Applicants who undertook study in a language other than English will be required to show proficiency in English. The University accepts the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), the Pearson Test of English (PTE), the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the Cambridge Advanced English (CAE).

The University provides support services for international students including an orientation program, airport reception, assistance with temporary accommodation arrangements, a variety of academic support services and social activities.

University policy allows for yearly increases in tuition fees and tuition fees are subject to change.
