This unit aims to expose students to the diverse educational settings in targeted countries and to allow them to gain an appreciation of cultural diversity and trends in educational leadership internationally international education and leadership in international education. It does so through an intensive engagement with schools, educational bodies, and tertiary institutions located in countries that are of contemporary interest or have responded innovatively to current challenges in education. Using a series of case studies, inquiry will be made into educational leadership, policy issues and functional aspects of educational organisations in targeted countries.
