This unit enables honours students to discuss the development of the scientific method in an historical context and to explore aspects of ethics and philosophy relating to science. There is a focus on gaining essential knowledge and skills in research design, methodologies and analysis. Communication skills needed for the presentation of scientific submissions, reports, and manuscripts are developed during the unit.
