EFTSL value of units : All 10 cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a cp value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.

Admission requirements

An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must:


  1. have completed a Bachelor degree in Paramedicine (or equivalent); OR
  2. have completed a Graduate Certificate in Paramedicine; OR
  3. have completed a Graduate Diploma in Paramedicine.
  4. provide evidence of engagement with an Ambulance Service, in a paid or voluntary capacity, either currently or within the last 5 years.


Completion requirements

To qualify for the Master of Paramedicine, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings:

  1. 50 cp Paramedicine Units (Part A);
  2. 20 cp Core Units (Part B);

AND

For Coursework Stream:

  1. 10 cp Interdisciplinary Elective Unit (Part C);
  2. 40 cp Combination of Interdisciplinary Project and Elective Units (Part D);

OR

For Research Stream:

  1. 10 cp Research Stream Units;
  2. 40 cp Research Dissertation Units;
