To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12 level, or equivalent.

Recommended Studies: one of General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Health or Physical Education (Units 3 & 4, C)

Victoria

Prerequisites: A study score of at least 30 in English (EAL) or 25 in any other English

International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

Completion requirements

To qualify for the Bachelor of Sport and Outdoor Education, a student must complete 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:

  1. 160 cp from Specified Units (Part A);
  2. 40 cp drawn from:
  3. 40 cp Elective Units (Part B); or
  4. 40 cp Minor Units; (Part C)
  5. 20 cp from Professional Experience Units (Part D);
  6. 20 cp from University Core Units (Part E);
  7. 0 cp from EXSC205 Industry Experience Preparation (Part F).

Progression requirements

Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
