If you would like to support a special cause at ACU in perpetuity, you can do so by making an endowed gift. By endowing your gift, you can make an investment that lasts forever.
What is an endowed gift?
Making an endowed gift means your donation is invested, and only income generated from the interest is used to fund the specified cause – the principal remains untouched and therefore continues to generate income for the cause in perpetuity.
You can create your endowment fund by making a one-off gift, or through a pledge fulfilled over an agreed period of time.
Honouring someone special
Because of the longevity of an endowed gift, many donors choose to name their endowment, to honour a loved one, memorialise a favourite teacher or mentor, commemorate their family name, or create their own personal legacy.
A legacy for generations
ACU is comparatively young as a university, but we intend to be here for generations to come! Endowments help ensure the future, providing permanent support for ACU for the advancement of the University, its students, faculty and programs.
What are the benefits of endowed giving?
- It gives donors the opportunity to give perpetual support to an area of the University they feel passionate about, and to create enduring memorials to honour loved ones.
- It ensures regular, consistent funding for ACU’s departments, programs and scholarships.
- It gives the University the freedom to embark on exciting new programs that enhance the reputation of ACU and its community.
- It helps stem rising tuition fees by providing financial aid for areas of need.
